Slipstream WMS is the industry leading app for scheduling and tracking meter installations, ensuring complete SMETS I and SMETS II compliance and offering powerful data insights on your workforce.
The Android app, designed specifically for the Smart Meter Rollout, covers intelligent route mapping and ensures compliant meter removal, meter installation, exchange, and emergency appointments and investigations with built in photographic capabilities.
WMS integrates with your appointments system and plans the most efficient route by engineer, with routes determined by an engineer’s skill set and location. GPS tracking functionality shows planned and actual routes and updates in real time, and the engineer gets all necessary information about the job via a handheld device or an Android phone, including his day’s manifest and specific customer information.
On arrival at an installation, the app updates the status of the job and displays all the required forms for the engineer to complete, including a full suite of Health & Safety questions. All required removal and installation information, including meter serial numbers and condition photos, are completed in the app and any issues requiring escalation can be reported in real time.
Once the customer has signed off their acceptance of the installation via the app, all of the job data including photographic evidence is uploaded in real time to be integrated with data held in the cloud. Meter Provida collates the data into industry defined formats to be lodged with industry bodies, as mandated by SMICoP.
For customers using Meter Provida’s Reverse Logistics service, the process of removed asset management begins here as we determine meter ownership and begin the repatriation service.
WMS is a robust, proven and completely customisable system, ensuring job efficiency, reducing installation aborts, and giving you access to real-time insights on your workforce and installation targets. The system includes a full suite of Management Information, with fully customisable data that can be integrated into your own systems.
Additional modules are available including customer satisfaction and van safety checks.
Available on iOS and Android operating systems, WorkSmart is the only app your engineers need to manage van stocks of meters and installation consumables including PPE. WorkSmart allows engineers to check stock availability, order on the go, specify delivery dates, and get order updates all in the app.
Designed to meet the specific needs of the meter industry, WorkSmart gives you complete budget control and powerful reporting. Budgeting functions allow you to set and manage spend levels by quantity, product line, engineer, or area and tiered value and product based approvals maintain control at every level. And as we invoice direct, there’s no need for petty cash, POs, or an in-house Stores function.
Via the WorkSmart portal, you will get access to a suite of management information to simplify the job of managing the costs of installation consumables. Trend reporting shows top products ordered by engineer and spend by individual or location, and notifications alert you when spend hits a pre-agreed level.
The messaging functionality allows you to message an individual engineer, by area, or your entire field, with an audit trail to see who has received and read it, by date and engineer name.
All data can be exported or integrated into your systems, and with our new Active Reporting, you can interrogate data in a bespoke way to meet your exact reporting requirements.
Slipstream Track ensures the traceability and visibility of all serialised meter stock at each stage of its life, from outbound stocks sent from Meter Provida to engineers in the field, to inbound receipt of removed assets.
Meter assets sent via our Tote Service to engineers are tracked from despatch to collection. Data can be integrated via an API or use our WMS Works Management software to ensure there is always meter stock available.
For customers using their own works management system, Slipstream Track offers a way to check and track assets as they come off the wall and are moved to a container for distribution to our Reverse Logistics facilities. Assets are scanned as they are packaged up and the container is ‘sealed’ in the app before it is physically closed.
Through integration with a range of delivery partners including our own, Slipstream Track gives you real time data on when assets have been booked in, collected, and delivered to AMS. As with all Meter Provida data solutions, full compliance reporting is available along with integration into your backend systems.
With regulatory requirements demanding you notify the owner of a meter within 30 days of its removal, Slipstream AMS is the first step in smart meter compliance. As part of our Works Management and Reverse Logistics services, Slipstream AMS offers complete asset traceability on removed meters. The Android app, when integrated with WMS and AMS services, provides compliance reporting on the numbers of meters that have been received by Meter Provida following removal.

The Slipstream StockCheck app that integrates with our Slipstream Consignment Stock Management platform. Accessed via a handheld device or Android phone, the app allows your engineers to check stock levels on the go. Data is sent back to Meter Provida and combines with Slipstream to ensure accurate stock levels.
